Brass rub strips for Chesapeake 17

I have just returned from a week long camping trip on the Maine Island trail. The Chesapeake 17 that I built held up extremely well with the rocky shore. The only minor problem that I had was on the seventh day of the trip. On the bow and stern where they meet the keel the epoxy had worn off to expose a bit of the wood. This was easily repaired with fast cure epoxy. My question was if any one knows the best way of installing a brass rub strip? Where could I purchase one? Does anyone had any suggestions?
