Im no expert, but I think that most people only put a filler coat of resin on the interior of their boats. Thats my plan anyways (on both boats) It saves weight, saves sanding and provides a non slip surface. I have seen boats that have had multiple coats of resin on the interior but mostly canoes and mostly for show.
