Working in renovations, I've seen too much stuff destroyed by expanding foam to endorse its use. I always use a small amount, let it harden, then go over it again until I have the right amount. And that's just for sealing around baseboards and doors. I'd hate to use it on a boat. In any quantity, it's also rather expensive stuff (do the math on the actual volume you'ld need). It is available in much larger containers but I'd wonder if it wouldn't actually be cheaper to buy the proper air bags.
