Hi all,
Here is another idea for a soaking trough.
Take a bunch of 2x's, and stack them as far apart as you need. Short pieces for the ends. Three boards high would give you a trough 4 1/2 inches deep. Easily changed for whatever size you need.
Finally, simply cover with plastic or even an old water-proof tarp. Using this method, you can even soak an entire sheet of plywood.
