The grain is stil visible, but I used a wood that looks sorta like spruce or light colored polar. The grain didnt have alot of color variation to begin with. Once I get the red and the potpourri dyeing done I'll take some pictures.

I don't imagine it would affect glue adhesion, but I don't know about epoxy. It'd be awhile before I could do the Epoxy test, maybe I'll try the glue though. It would only require one color, and some scrap wood and leftover epoxy, so if any of y'all wanna be a semi-hero, go for it.
