Thanks for keeping all the corispondence. I am just beginning a Gillemot Expedition Single from a Newfound kit. Thank god I bought strongback kit! No forethought on my part but it is as stiff as an I beam. I felt for you when you discovered the warp in your 2x4.

Reading BB can be disjointed with so many topics in separate threads. It was facinating to read your progress, the ups and down through the project (a clasic tale: boy gets kayak..boy looses kayak..boy gets kayak)and your eventual completion. Glad you hung in there. I will benefit from your questions to Nick.
