Hi John,

Try Williamsburg Wood & Garden Inc. 613-543-2666

This is where I got my cedar (eastern white and western red) they had the best prices in the Ottawa region. I talked to them as to what I was looking for and they said they would start placing the lumber aside for me as they came across long clear planks. It took about three weeks before they had assembled the order. As I recall I paid $160 for enough wood to do one and a half kayaks. I still had to cut the strips and put the bead and cove on.

My guess is that you're in Brockville? I spent a great day at St. Laurence Park on Monday kayaking!

Matthew
