Gorilla glue works real well for this. I have done several different experiments in laminating, and have concluded that solid wood is preferrable to plywood, and that there is no need to use epoxy. Recorcinol also works wekk, as doed Weldwood. But Gorilla is easiest to use and clean up. I like the idea of a vertical ,laminated and then swan, beam. I'll try it...
