Has anyone used the Hypalon paint sold by Klepper, or Dyson? I am restoring a 30 year old Klepper folding double. The rubber skin has alligatored along the bottom and I want to re-coat it to get a few more years out of it. There is also a new water based elastomeric coating by BEHR which I am considering. My concerns are 1. will the new coating stick to the old skin, and 2. will it provide a relatively durable surface. I've looked at some elastomeric roof coatings but they remain too soft. Thanks.
