Hope this is the appropriate place for my reply which is not an answer but my own concerns for the same problem I will be facing. I am builing a Panache which calls for the same stipping techniques and I was not clear on the first proposed sulution with the plastic sheet betweeen the deck and the hull at the time of stripping the deck as at this time all the stations are still hot glued to the hull so I guesss Iam wondering If there is to be plastic inbetween each station like mylar stretching straiaght across the opening at the sheer line or suran wrap type plastic going right down inside the hull toughing the insides of the hull? My boat is being built in my basement in temparate whether conditions were things dont seem to change much as far as I can see so far.The temprature downstairs is about 70 degreees yearround and I guess I should get a humidity gauge but I havent yet. Right now I am half way through stripping the deck with the hull glassed about 3 monthes ago. My wood was super dry before i ripped it and everything has been sitting downstiars for a while now(like a year) Hoping to launch this one in early spring so Ill contine at a slow pace. Thanks in advance for anyone that might shed some light on my concerns too.
