In Response To: Ripping strips (Mikael Östlund)
The best I could come up with was using a fixed holddown from above attached to the fence and then a pair of magnetic featherboard thingies to hold the board against the fence. The magnetic bases on the featherboards make them easy to move in at the start of each strip rip.
Below is a picture - I bought them at a woodworking show and am not sure where to get them now...
