Please pardon my mini diatribe. I know the reasons that make okoume the plywood of choice for kayaks. I'm using it for a 45 foot catamaran. What ires me is are arguments proposed by the those who have read these arguments somewhere and repeat them endlessly. These persons are usually clueless regarding alternatives.
