I used a Freud thin kerf ripping blade with blade stabilizers (10 inch blade) with pretty good results. But for the next boat I'm going to try one of the smaller Matsushita blades (link below). There have been posts various places about the advantages of using the smaller blade. (sorry I don't have the post locations for you). Good Luck, Rick V.
