OK as long as small AND high quality

In Response To: Use a small blade (Paul Jacobson)

For me, the small blades I could get did not match the sharpness and cutting quality of the 10" Forrest blade with stabilizer (the stabilizer gives the blade much less flex and a smoother cut).

IF you could find a small blade made with the same quality as the 10" Forrest then it might work as well or better - I couldn't.
