Greetings;

I have used the product myself. Usualy as a base for varnish. Very effective, very noxious. Get-rot has similar working properties.

The last time I used Smith's it stayed liquid in the "pot" for more than a day.

I would use it to seal any wood project, Stitch&glue, strip, or whatever.
