That'd be the accident prone Roy Underhill. :-) I still watch The Woodwright's Shop every Saturday afternoon at 3:00pm, but on PBS's satellite broadcast though. It seems that it's still currently in production. Below is a link to a site where you can order his books. A quick scan of the contents revealed that "The Woodwright's Eclectic Workshop" and "The Woodwright's Workbook" have sections regarding boats/boatbuilding.
