I've never used it for stripping, but I panelled a kitchen with it once. It works very much like cedar - soft, bendable, and light. It's is almost pure white (most of it) and has very little grain, so should make really neat accent strips. Possible drawback: NOT rot-resistant like cedar, redwood, or cypress (but if it's glassed, shouldn't matter).
