What part of the Bay of Fundy? Just asking because I don't usually see comments regarding areas close to home (I'm living in Halifx and built a Cheasapeake 17 last winter).

By the way, I started an earlier discusion on this list about trying to build a surf boat (you could search the archive), specifically something similar to the Wilderness Systems Alamax (pictured below if I got the link right) - I don't have time this year, but I'll keep it in mind as I've enjoyed taking my Cheasapeake out at Lawrencetown beach (mind you at 17 feet long, 3-4 foot waves are plenty).
