I would be interested in hearing from strip-builders in the Seattle-area that wouldn't mind having someone test-ride their boat. I don't know whether I will have the opportunity to build this winter, but would like to start narrowing down choices should I get the opportunity. I would like to build a stripper and would love to try out any of Nick's or other designer's boats. Right now I am very intriqued by Laughing Loon's North Star. (I would not be opposed to also trying out a baidarka for those skin-on-frame types out there). My preference is something maneuverable without a rudder and relatively sleek.
