I made mine an inch or so higher than the coaming and am going to lower it again. My skirt fits on all right, but it is very difficult to get it there. It is hard to reach back over the high seat back and snap the skirt's cord under the lip. That is partly due to my stiff shoulders. :-) Once in place, the skirt is fine, but it sometimes takes me 5 minutes to do so.
