after what goes on the pfd and me:
1.underdeck rigging for pump,misc stuff,meshbag with bungie drawstring closure attached to underside of deck. I had a vhf radio in that one day and forgot it,,the kayak was scrambled in the surf a few times and it was still there with a clif bar.
2.bottom of hull rigging beneath knees to strap down small drybox or two liter bottle of water.
3.mesh fanny pack to be worn in front or attached to pfd in front for easy access or stuffed in cockpit rigging, don't bother putting anything that's not submersible in it. Can be handed/flung to another person.
