I can't do the launch, Kyle. Tmperatures plunged so quickly with so much frigid wind that the river froze up solid the day after my last paddle. I was planning on going out today to do the launch but all that would happen is that I'd go down the hill to land on very unstable ice that would make it necessary for a real live Air One rescue and I am definitly NOT setting up for an example of what not to do. The weather is predicted to change for the better soon, if the ice breaks up enough I'll get out there and do the launch and post the video. We just didn't get enough snow and ice in the correct combination to make it possible this year.
