: You are forgetting that all the other strips of both the deck and hull are
: hot-glued to the forms

When i lifted the hull off the forms and strongback (i decided to take the hull first, as it felt most ridgid), i had to wiggle it back and forth, and give the forms i could reach through the hatch opening (which i had precut loosely) a good whack with a hammer.

As the hull was loosened from the 4-6 largest forms, the rest gave way easily. Only the bow took a good careful 15 minutes prying with a long stick and some nerve-wrecking hammering on it, to loosen. To avoid this, you could use internal stems.

If the edges of your forms are coated with ducktape, you will have no prolems :-)
