I'll do the conversion for ya: a cub that weighs 5-lbs is probably still in it's momma and so trying to fight it would be a very very bad idea. It's my bet momma wouldn't like it too much. Also, if the cub is 5-lbs it's likely that momma is sleeping in her den and so to wake her up to fight her unborn cub would truely get her pissed, even worse.
