In Response To: Epoxy: nightmare (Joerg Komenda)

a few tips to make it less sticky for yourself:
- don't ever let epoxy get on your skin, and resist to touch epoxy with your bare hands to feel if it has cured yet (that is after the wetting out is done).
- buy a box of disposable latex gloves (100-pack) and change them frequently. You shouldn't continue with the gloves when there 's a hole in it. I change them everytime I make a new bacth of epoxy.
- wear a tyvek coat (that light white paperlike stuff).
- put some cover on the floor below the kayak to avoid stepping into drops of epoxy that ran off the hull or deck.
- Take your time, don't get nervous, squeegee all excess epoxy, but don't overdo it (that's called starvng the cloth, the cloth will show up white then)

hope this helps,
Erik, Belgium.
