Thanks Brian and Bryan!
puts my mind at ease a bit. I guess I was expecting a bit more beef there. The boat is coming along better than I expected for my first one. I seem to be keeping the weight down well enough. So far it is 28 pounds 11 oz. (13.01 Kg) That is just the two halves and the coaming. got another few lbs of bulkheads, seatback and hatch flanges to go so am thinking I'm going to stay under 38 lbs. (17.24 Kg) So, with that in mind, I'd like to thank everone here for all the tips and "how to's" in getting a great kayak built.
Thanks all!
