I admire your loyalty to Mike,and I have this to say:
I'd like to think that I have a good sense of humor. Only here I fail to see the joke . If he is just kidding, it is at my expense, by a person I have never met or even was in contact with.
Also, hundreds of people read this post, who do not know me. They were left with the impression that I am as foolish as Mike made me out to be. That is not funny to me: I am working hard to build a good reputation which spells integrity in my work and in my relationships. Mike just blows my efforts out of the water with such false commentary.
The reason I did not answer the post earlier, is this: I simply did not know it was there, until seconds before I answered it.
Good for you to come to your buddies defense, but in answer your question:
No, I am not over-reacting by trying to clear my name. I still feel Mike needs to be responsible and admit that he made a mistake. I'd be the first one to forgive this, because I screw up as often as anybody else.
And I also know how to apologize, when I recognize my mistake. How about it? Jurgen
