My kayak is being glassed right now in my parents house. Much nicer then the 50 degree garage.

I did the pvc tarp tent and will never do that again. It was horrible. messy and could not get the heat all the way around just created more problmes

Tarp and cardboard the floor and dog and your on your way take pictures for sure

Dude! You're in there. If you're single, definitely put the boat in your
: living room to glass it. Just cover whatever you like with plastic. I
: glassed my deck in the living room during Hurricane Charlie. I have a very
: tolerant wife.

: (Couple years ago, she wanted to build a dollhouse. I (thinking of my future
: kayak project) said "Sure! Go ahead!" So for nearly three
: months, the dining room table was covered in sawdust, plywood scraps and
: hot glue. She worked on it every evening, for hours. I just grinned.)

: Alternately, you can attach pieces of PVC pipe or something to the sides of
: your workbench in the garage, and tent the workbench. Put smaller diameter
: PVC into the "hollow stakes" lining your bench, and hoop them,
: curving over the top to fit in the opposite side pipe or holes drilled in
: the table or whatever. Cover in 3-6mil visquene and put a couple small
: heaters under the table or under the tent. It'll reach curing temp pretty
: easy. You'd want to mix small batches to wet out, or bring the garage temp
: up for wet out, else the epoxy will get too thick.
