Well, it's that time of year when I start drooling over the next boat. I'm thinking this one will be a baidarka, either SOF or strip. I'm 5'6", 135 lbs. Rob Mack's Shooting Star looks great. Does anyboy have one I can try? I'm near Detroit. If not too far, I can bring either my Greenland SOF or my Cirrus hybrid if you want to paddle one of those. Farther afield, I'd probably ride my motorcycle & not bring a boat. I'm too poor to drive my truck far at $3.00/gallon ;-)

Anyhow, Please let me know if you have a SS I can try. I promise to be nice to it!
