The design is another product of Ross Leidy's Kayak Foundry. It was designed to be a bit more manageable for my 5ft tall wife, while still being OK for me on calm water.
It is 15 ft long and is a similar shape to the Night Heron that my son and I built 4 years ago. It is a little less upswept at the ends and slightly softer chines.
I have tried some Paulownia for the hull and part of the deck. It is lighter than WRC and a very pale colour.
I will post some photos when it is finished, hopefully within a month.
