After six months my fist kayak has finally hit the water.

I need to thank everybody on this board for invaluable information gleaned from reading months of your postings. I am also grateful for all of the excellent sources of information and materials that I found from this site.

The boat is wrc with basswood/mahogany stripes. The 'spear' patterns on the decks are made from heartwood/sapwood strips bookmatched.

The coaming is zebrawood and probably my favorite feature.
