: I have made a minicell foam seat that works very well. I used two sheets of
: 1" minicell, one on either side of the keelson, with a thicker sheet
: of 3" minicell glued on top of the 1" sheets. Then I used a
: small piece of dragonskin to carve out the top of the seat to fit my
: behind. I tried it with an integrated backrest, but find I prefer a
: commercial backband (SnapDragon) since it works better. I take it out when
: I am not using the boat to let the skin dry.

Your boat must be a whole heck of alot deeper than this one, with that much foam I'd be sitting on top of the boat. Trial sat in the boat's frame today, not enough room in this boat for a seat other than what Tom calls for, thin plywood. This thing is tiny and cool :)
Can't wait to paddle this...gonna have to wait a little while, won't float real well this way.
