Its fun to make the two projects at the same time on each side of the atlantic!
Im going for a flat reardeck, and a foredeck like yours. The curve of the foredeck is made looking at a tracing of my feet, so I can flex them. It will be a lot like comercial kayaks. Thinking about beckson lids, one for a dayhatch(the only one I want to use for storage), one on the foredeck and one in the aft bulkhead to be able to air out any moisture. I want this kayak for a day/play boat, so no need for large storage spaces.

Ill recess the lids and try out maroske fittings this time.
Ill put in a retractable skeg, probably the design made by Björn Thomasson without bungies attached to the actual skeg.
Ill try to use a modified fin from a windsurfer instead of making the actual skeg myself. That should provide me with a great profile.
Finally I want to make a recessed coaming in CF if I can get my hands on it for a reasonable price.

Thought of calling it the Iggy like you but it will propably end up being called Ananas (being the ancestor of tha Anas Acuta, Ananas is danish for pineapple, and I think I can make a nice stencil of a pineapple on the foredeck).
Maybe put a layer of CF there, put on the stencil, paint the deck white and remove the stencil. That would look great I hope. WAY ahead og myself, planning this without having made the strips yet
