Someone should point him to this site. He probably never thought of using cedar strips covered with glass for the fairing instead of molding a heavy, solid fiberglass shell. I read thru most of his site and at the end he has a picture of the fairing following a fire. He says he plans to build another. Maybe we can show him a better route that will weigh less, cost him less and take less time.
