Not sure if anyone noticed but the project did keep him off the streets and outta trouble. Looks like he put a ton of work into creating the body...I figure that stripping it would have been easier. Also, his top speed isn't remarkable so I guess he has to do more work on it.
This story reminded me of a time when I was out on my racing bike. I was peddling it on the main road down into the river valley. This road is very winding so traffic tends to slow to 50-60 kmph. I was passing them. My top speed as indicated on my speedo was just a hair under 70 kmph...that would be 43.75 mph. Felt great to be going so fast. I had the bike geared for speed so it wasn't the best for acceleration but could really get going on the down hill slopes.
