Have to agree with Bob, a rudder on that boat would look awful at best.

You could mount Bryan Hansel's skeg after you built the boat if you felt you needed one, which I doubt. A well designed boat shouldn't need either. I've got one on the NDK Greenlander that I paddle alot and I've not used it at all this year, not sure I ever will.
