: I have a ROS sander with a little spout that a dust canister attaches to...so
: i duct taped a 1.5" hose to it and the other end of that to a shop
: vac hose.

: End result is i just did a massive amount of sanding and i have no sanding
: dust on myself, my stuff, or my boat.

: The 20' long 1.5" diameter hose made it doable since it was flexible and
: did not impede sanding.

: I have no idea why i did not do this before when sanding all that epoxy...i
: don't see how i could ever sand epoxy or anything else large without the
: vac again.

: No more leaf blower to blow out my shop ever again.

Hi Patrick,
It is nice to work without all that dust, isn't it! :)
One little trick I was given about plastic ducting for vaccuum systems, ground the hose at several locations. Static will glue the dust to the inside of the hose and eventually put strain on your vaccum motor.
Also minimises the chance of static spark, not a good thing with dust.
