Why? because of the way it looks. and if it is half as durable as nylon or polyester, then that is something i can work with.

i am currently about a day or two from skinning a Sea Tour 13 for a friend and that will be done in Nylon. i understand the the druability of nylon, polyester and canvas. i just choose to do something different. my next SOF kayak would be cool with a see thru bottom.

i trust Tom Yost and Bryan Hansel with their expertise in this matter. i also understand that i am not going to go rock hopping in such a craft but why not have some fun?
