In Response To: S&G: scaled down S&G builds (Kelly)

Kelly,

I have successfully scaled the Cunningham/Sea Kayaker S&G to 16.5 feet (I'm 5'8" & 135 pounds). I scaled in only two dimensions - length by applying a factor to the X dimension to the offsets, scaling the Y dimension by a factor. I left the width alone as I felt the 18' was about as tippy as I wanted. Both times I deviated from the deck plans by putting on an Arctic Hawk-like deck. I also used a CLC cockpit/coaming. Maybe the photo link to work.
