Thanks for the info- it's more than there was before! I wonder if too many Auk builders are simply out paddling and haven't had a chance to respond. Or perhaps the boat is simply too bland - since it's designed to be a stable "pickup truck" for novices - to inspire paeans of joy the way the Pygmy Osprey or Redfish Kingfisher do. Any other ideas or comments about the Great Auk (strip built 17'standard size) out there?
