I did think about using a mixer but I am concerned about stirring in too much air. I think I will heat the mix up a little to get it to flow better. Also, the spreader I used was an old one that had a bad edge. I didn't intend on using a spreader and had to grab the first piece of junk that I had on hand. I'll bring along my new spreader for future coats. Didn't have time to do the next coat yet - still too busy with reno's. I'll try to spread a couple more coats on during the week. The weather here is unusually warm (19 C high today) and that has me itching to get this trial done before the real cold settles in. I also cranked up the heat in mom's garage so I expect to have no problem getting an even coat on the hull next time I get over there.
