Hi Sodbuster,
It's not the boat as such. We make the jokes at the potential pilots behaviour. Mostly because we know there are idiots out there.

No problems with boats and ships making waves,as such, I used to surf the bow waves of ships heading up to Cork. Usually Russian merchanters.
Around here, getting tossed by a boat wake is pure accident usually. Or self inflicted.
However, there are individuals who think it's a laugh to use a small, fast, maneuvrable craft to "play" with kayakers. This is precisely the machine to make these people's eyes light up.

I don't do Nordic ski-ing or snowmobiling. Hard to do when the ground is always green.
