My original idea was as a way to hold the combing on my folders in place. Probably a better use would be to hold the ends of the stringers on to the stem and stern pieces. Nuts and bolts work ok but take too much time for assembly.

The idea of using them as they are 'supposed' to be used (as clamps) never crossed my mind, but I like it! I will no doubt throw off a few wing nuts and use cam levers on some of my jigs.
