That is what I was thinking of doing now. I think it will look great too. Alot of people talk about the fillet itself needing to be strong, but I always thought that the main purpose of a fillet is to give the glass a curve to bend around instead of a 90 degree bend which would cause a large stress concentration during use. It also makes it much easier to fit the glass to this area since it won't be able to bend 90 degrees anyway. Although still I'm sure that an epoxy fillet is going to be stronger than a wooden one, but I don't plan on pounding on this kayak. I was thinking about cutting a 45 degree angle or using the router to put a concave quarter round on it.
