You probably know this, but you can do a quick test at home before getting on the water. Cut the side view of the kayak with a paddler in it out of a foldable material. Cut a line at the waterline. Fold the two parts and find the balance point on the end of a pin. This will give you the CE and CLR. From these can be determined weatherhelm, leecocking.
