In Response To: Strip: Skeg Tube (Bryan Hansel)
Bryan, I believe you will find a contradiction there - tubes with low friction, such as vacuum tubing are not glueable with anything, and those that are glueable have to much friction for the wire to run smoothly. In my experience the answer is to use low friction tubing and 1. scratch the tube with a rough sandpaper to provide mechanical grip or 2. use pneumatic tubing and fittings (as the skeg on Rockpool Kayaks) - the metal fittings glued to the skeg box, preferably also used through bulkheads.
