I guess you mean 200 F (93'C)? It does sound quite much.

I've use elecric hair dryer on couple occasions - I guess the temperature is about 60-70'C. The very-slow hardener cured in 15 mins or so.

I've also used oven sometimes for small pieces (~75 'C) and I've been in sauna with my previous greenland paddle (~70-80'C).

So, generally, I would use temps of 50-70'C (125-160 F) and usually the time can be one hour or even less.

One thing to remember is that wood will outgas when temperature is raised. That means you might get air bubbles in the epoxy surface.

Epoxy also will have less viscosity in high temps and it will also start to break down if kept in high temps for long time.

Most woods I know will not have color changes under 105'C (220 F)

: has anyone ever baked small epoxy glue ups of wood pieces in a low temp oven
: for a couple hours? Like heat the oven up to about 200, turn off and let
: the piece sit in there? I'm in a bit of hurry! : )
