This is the Folbot pontoons and aluminum snap-together tubing (not mine but like mine), which would stabilize a fishing boat. It consists of a middle tube section of 44 inches that can be left on the kayak at all time if you want. You then snap on section quickly that make the pontoons over 11 feet wide or just the shorter sections making the pontoons 5 feet wide. All this for only $250. If you should go this way, ask me how to make support struts for the aka outrigger.
