I may be the wrong person,I hate to fish, but the plastic kayaks are just tanks, heavy in the water and back killers out. My thought, use a big mini cell paddle float on your extra paddle lashed to the deck ,90* to the center line. There is a local that does plastic fish but does not go far and just slides the yak into the bed of his truck and uses wheels to roll the kayak.
