Thank you for the quick responses. As a result of Tom's comments, I have decided to build the 21 inch wide 16 foot boat. I am now in the process of printing out the manual that he has so generously provided. I expect to spend the cold months purchasing materials for the boat. And of course getting in some quality time skiing on the slopes and in the woods on cross country skis. I might even finish carving a couple of paddles.
